Pina Colada Smoothie Recipe

Bring a little Caribbean flare into your smoothie routine with this delicious combination of fruit.

Makes 1 serving

1/3 cup coconut milk
2 cups pineapple juice
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream or vanilla yogurt
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 tablespoons agave nectar or honey

Blend to your heart's content and serve with a slice of pineapple for garnish. You and your guests will feel refreshed and energized after this delicious, nutritious beverage. And who needs the rum, eh?

I find that if I'm not in the mood to drink alcohol, this smoothie is just the treat that feels light and relaxing if I'm with friends. It gives me a feeling of treating myself, giving myself a gift of yummy sweet flavor.
