Spinach Smoothie Recipe for Kids

You won't believe how delicious this Spinach Smoothie Recipe for Kids is. Let your children surprise you! You think they don't like greens? You think they'll poo-poo anything that has nutritional value? Try blending up this incredibly healthy, super sweet smoothie and watch their eyes light up when they take a sip! This is a great morning drink and a perfect after-the-game nutritional powerhouse. Forget your bacon and eggs breakfast! Give the kids a healthy meal that will keep them moving all morning, never slowing them down like those hard-to-digest meat-and-potatoes meals can do. Try this:

4 cups milk of your choice
2 handfuls of berries, your choice (strawberries, blueberries - whatever you can find frozen at your grocery or in season)
3 frozen bananas
1/8 cup honey or agave nectar
4 large handfuls organic spinach

Blend the heck out of it all for at least 45 seconds. You don't want a trace of those leaves showing! This is Popeye's nutritional powerhouse drink... but you can tell 'em their favorite comic hero sent it!
