Tropical Treat Smoothie Recipe

Your kids deserve a tropical treat smoothie, just like you do! This smoothie embodies the pleasures of the tropics and serves up tons of fruit servings. Ask the children to help throw in the ingredients and you'll have a crowd anxious to drink their own work. This recipe serves a crowd - adjust accordingly.

Tropical Treat Smoothie 2 cups milk of your choice (soy, cow's, almond, rice, hemp)
Handful of ice cubes - or 1/2 cup Tropical Ice Tea
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup mango chunks or 1 cup mango yogurt
1 cup orange juice
2 frozen bananas

Blend, blend, blend in your monster blender (like a VitaMix) until you taste it and say, "yumbo! This is exactly the consistency I was looking for!"

Serves a small crowd of hungry children - or a couple of adults.

For added fun, let the kids open little bartender umbrellas for their drinks. You can take this smoothie to the beach in a (tightly) sealed container... this tropical treat will be a hit by the pool as well!
